Hello friends!!

It has been a couple months since I posted anything. A couple of months of sad, happy, proud, tense and every other emotion in between.
Sadly, we had to put down one of  our dogs, due to illness and although, we all knew he was suffering and that was the right thing to do, those of you who have had to make this very hard decision, know what I'm talking about it's one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life.

On a lighter note the month of June brought graduations for both my youngest daughters. One from 8th grade and the other from high school.  Where does the time go?? I was just changing their diapers and putting their hair in pigs tails, just a short time ago.
Here's the card I made for my 8th grader's graduation, or as they call it in out school district, "Promotion".

I used the Live Simply cricut cartridge. I think the title"Take Flight" was appropriate for such occasion.

I used Stickles on the butterfly wings as well as the title and the flying trace.

I hope you all enjoy this card.
Onto other news of my family, my 17 year old daughter also has some minor surgery in the last few days and that has also put a little bit of a hold on my blogging and crafting. She is doing much better today from her recovery, that I decided I would go ahead and try to get some much needed "me" time, before I have to head back to work on Monday.  So, I will get to work on  some challenges and hopefully will be posting at least one of them later today.  So, until then.

Happy Scrappin'
