Hello friends.  I've been gone from blogging for a quite a while, but since the last time I was here a lot of stuff has been going on in the Ross household.
We bought a new home in April and the move was, as moving goes, crazy, stressful and just plain tiring.
We are still trying to settled in as the house needed a lot of TLC and with me working full time and hubby having surgery in May, well it's been a slow process.
Needless to say that crafting has not been on my list of priorities. Not that I don't need it. God and all of you fellow crafters know is our only saving grace at times.
But I did manage to work on a few things. Just had to have a little me time.
In the new home, I have to share a room with my hubby and his home business.  So that will be in itself an experience. We decided we each get opposite walls of the room. I will update you on the outcome of that in another post. So let me share with you what I worked on.
I made this card for  a challenge that required making a project on color on color. The CS is all from Close to My Heart.  I used a butterfly embossing folder from Hobby Lobby.  The butterfly punch is from Martha Stewart , but I believe is no longer available.
Here's a close up of the sentiment. I also used My Craft Spot Birthday Wishes stamps and a punch from my stash.
Next I made a baby shower card for a friend having a baby boy. I used my Cricut, Create a Critter cartridge.  Fast and easy, but I think it came out cute.

A close up of the sentiment.

So this is my two creations during all the chaos that has gone on in my life in the last few months. Now with school back in session. My baby is a sophomore this year, (where does the time go?). I will hopefully get back in the swing of things, both with my crafting and blogging. I'm planning on making a few projects for challenges, as I find this is what keeps me going in the midst of a hectic life. Until next time. Thanks for stopping by and

Happy Scrappin'!
